Up early, bed was like rocks. No coffee until 7.00am, man I thought my throat was cut.
Breakfast then quite a long meeting, Does & don'ts thing. Pissing with rain to.
Man we were lucky, the rain stopped just before our orientation ride. The bike felt small. A bit of a wobble out of the drive way. You sure can tell the bike is a 50+ year old design. LOL. We did about 20kms all up, on a reasonably quiet bit of road, however we did meet the odd truck. As the roads are bad speed was down & the gravel on the side of the road was used a couple of times. What you learn very quickly is trucks are king of the road & you find the horn button, which is used constantly, more to tell people you are over taking them or on blind corners. It is not used aggressively only to warn other drivers, you it works. Couldn't do it back home though, you would get run off the road.
We went into Shimla town ship for a look around & dinner, very nice.
The 1st picture is outside my bedroom window at about 6pm. The 3rd picture is of part of Shimla, it is pretty big.
The true adventure starts tomorrow, I think I am ready.
